Information we collect
When you contact us, we collect your first name, last name, email address and message. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, maintain our correspondence and protect the site from abuse. Please do not submit confidential financial or sensitive personal information. Contact submissions are stored in our database. Where configured, SendGrid processes an email notification.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Tag Manager to manage the following services: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and Conversions API, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel, Microsoft Advertising (UET), Microsoft Clarity and PostHog. Google Tag Manager starts in a consent-denied state, and these services load only after you consent: analytics services (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, PostHog) with Analytics consent, and advertising services (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft Advertising) with Marketing consent. They help us understand how the site is used and measure our ads, and may process device information, browser details, page interactions, ad click identifiers and identifiers stored in cookies. Clarity and PostHog may record sessions and heatmaps. The admin and Blog Studio are always excluded. You can accept, decline or change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Each provider processes information according to its own privacy policy.
Server-side conversions
When you submit a form (free chapter, contact or work inquiry) and you have given Marketing consent, we may send a record of that lead to Meta through its Conversions API, server to server. Your email address and first name are hashed (SHA-256) before they leave our server, and are sent with the ad click identifiers, page address, network address and browser details needed to match and de-duplicate the event. Purchase data may be sent in the same hashed form to Meta and Google Analytics where you gave consent. Nothing is sent without your consent.
Cookieless website measurement
Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure public page usage and performance without analytics cookies and do not wait for cookie consent. Our custom events exclude names, email addresses, messages and other form values. We remove URL queries and fragments and exclude admin and API routes from this measurement.
First-party blog measurement
We measure article visits, visible card impressions, clicks, active reading time, scroll milestones and confirmed chapter or contact submissions. A random identifier in tab session storage lasts for a 30-minute visit and is renewed daily. A server-side daily salt hashes the network address and a broad device category; the blog analytics database does not store the address or full browser details. Referrers are reduced to categories without URLs. Daily salts expire after two days and event records after 90 days. Submission details are not included in analytics. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable this first-party measurement. Hosting services may retain their own security logs.
Work inquiries
When you make a work inquiry, we collect your name, email address, selected offer and message, together with any organization, role, preferred date, format, location and audience size you provide. We store the inquiry and use our existing email provider to notify Shihan and acknowledge accepted notifications. The protected admin area supports inquiry follow-up and export. Please do not include confidential financial or sensitive personal information.
Purposes, sharing and international transfers
We process inquiries to take steps at your request and for our legitimate interest in operating our business. Analytics and advertising services rely on your consent. Limited cookie-free usage measurement supports our legitimate interest in understanding article use, subject to applicable local requirements and your right to object. We use service providers for hosting, storage and email delivery, and may disclose information when legally required. Providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. We do not sell your personal information. External services and Money Master HQ have their own privacy policies.
Free chapter requests
When you request a free chapter, we store your name, email address and request record, and share your name and email with Money Master HQ to fulfill the request. The form explains that you will receive the chapter and occasional Money Master HQ updates, with the option to unsubscribe at any time. If forwarding is unavailable, we may use our email provider to send your requested chapter directly. We retain the request only as needed for fulfillment, consent records and applicable legal obligations.
Retention and your rights
We retain information only for as long as needed to respond to inquiries, fulfill legal obligations and protect our legitimate interests. Where applicable law provides, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may withdraw analytics or marketing consent at any time and complain to your local supervisory authority. Contact info@moneymasterhq.com to exercise these rights.
Security and changes
We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure. The admin area uses password protection, two-factor authentication and inactivity limits. This website is not directed at children. We may update this policy as our services change.
